while the hubby is away... (Part 2)

the third weekend:
kept myself busy over wedding preparations this entire week. went to collect the wedding cards on one of the days, after work. goodness, the cards weighed a ton! aunty saw me & said "oh dear, how are you going to manage yourself & carry all these home? where's your husband?" the rain & the pain in my knee(again!) didn't make lugging the cards home any easier. spent $30 on cab back home! =x

thanks mummy, i've finished preparing the cards in 2 nights. all invitation cards with inserts are now nicely folded & tied neatly with gold thread awaiting for the husband to be back & we shall start writing the guests' names. =)

on saturday, accompained mummy to chinatown to get the necessary customary items. we didn't buy the supposed-to-buy customary items, but only selectively. gosh, it seemed nothing much but it amounted up to be $100++ loh... duh!

more shopping was done in ikea with mummy and aunt to get the house be decorated to create the "xi qi yang yang" atmosphere.

the hubby will be back this saturday morning.

can't wait for him to be back! YippiEE!!
